“House Hockey” is designed for players who have completed one session of LTP or who have limited prior hockey experience.  The program is for players age 6-12 who want to learn the game or improve their skills prior to joining a youth travel team.  Sessions will continue to focus on hockey fundamentals and small area games.  The sessions will be open to a limited number of players from WYH travel teams who want additional time to refine their fundamentals in a fun and constructive setting.  Players will be divided into small groups by coaches based on ability to ensure parity.  House players will also play in a limited number of scrimmages against other local organizations, primarily within the upper valley, subject to scheduling availability.  The focus of the program is on fun and giving the players a fun and safe space to practice to learn the sport of hockey.  Depending on interest and number of registered players, House Hockey may have two sessions, one from late October through December 31st, and another from January 1st through the end of February.
